Google has been constantly working to improve the Duo video chat app. Recently a low-light mode was added to the app allowing Duo users to engage in a video chat even in less than optimal lighting. In May, Google added group video calling with up to four contacts able to video chat at the same time. While that is well short of the 32 that can FaceTime simultaneously on the iPhone, Google says that it will keep expanding the number of Duo users able to engage in a group video chat.
