Galaxy Fold's September release makes it the first brand-name foldable phone to launch

The more you try to shake off the inevitability of folding handsets, the more they get you, resurrected from the ashes of their long passed release dates that were supposed to be in the spring. In the second half of the year we will witness not one, not two, but three or four foldable phones from Samsung, Motorola, Huawei and likely Xiaomi, clashing for supremacy with different design concepts and price points.

First in line, however, will apparently be Samsung's OG Galaxy Fold, with an overhauled display and hinge that fix the assembly weaknesses which plagued the preview units. ...
