Meet Sony's new mid-range smartphone, the Xperia 8

Sony Xperia 8 is a brand new mid-range smartphone that's been recently introduced in Japan. We're not sure whether or not the phone will make it to other countries at the moment, but if it does here is what you should expect.

First off, this is likely to be Sony's first mid-ranger to feature IP65/68 certification (dust and waterproof). Furthermore, the smartphone boasts a massive 6-inch display with Full HD+ (2520 x 1080 pixels) resolution and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. There's Gorilla Glass 6 on front and back as well.
