Motorola starts pushing Android 9.0 Pie to the unlocked Moto Z3 Play in the US

Motorola continues to bring some of its smartphones to the latest version of Android, and the last device to receive a major OS update is the Moto Z3 Play. If you own Motorola's mid-range handset and you're located in the US, there's a high chance that you'll be able to download and install Android 9.0 Pie today.

Motorola published the release notes of the update a long time ago, but the actual update never arrived on the Moto Z3 Play. Last month, the Canadian units started to receive the update, which also included a security patch.
