If you thought that those foldable unicorns of a phone will save us from things popping out from your handset's body, you are sorely mistaken, thought Oppo, and filed a bunch of patents detailing just such a monstrosity, as filings unearthed by LetsGoDigital reveal .

OnePlus is using a protruding camera to capitalize on screen space here, and plenty of Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi or even Samsung phones have pop-up, sliding and even rotating cameras now, all in the name of shaving off the top bezel.
