Verizon flips the switch to activate the eSIM embedded inside the 2018 iPhone models

Earlier today, AT&T became the first U.S. carrier to offer eSIM support for the Apple iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and the iPhone XR. That was followed up this afternoon with a tweet from Verizon announcing that it too has activated eSIM support for the 2018 iPhones, allowing the phone to have Dual SIM capabilities. Verizon's support page titled "Dual SIM with an eSIM " mentions that more devices will support this technology next year.
