Android phones are fooled by 3D-printed head; Apple's Face ID passes the test



To test how secure the facial recognition feature is on a number of Android phones and the Apple iPhone, Forbes created a 3D-printed head of the author of its story and tested whether it would fool five handsets. These included four Android phones, the LG G7 ThinQ, Samsung Galaxy S9, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and a OnePlus 6. Also tested was the Apple iPhone X, the first iPhone to come with Face ID.
