Destring returns Contains Nonnumeric Characters; no replace in STATA

If you are trying to destring a variable and it return this message  "your variable contains nonnumeric characters; no replace" in STATA then  below is how you can solve that issue.

Type the following codes in your STATA command prompt👇👇

Commands

destring variable_name, generate (new_variable_name) force 
list variable_name if new_variable_name>=.         /*in case you want to see*/

Note: Put/replace with your variable name in above pink words.
