OnePlus started releasing two flagship smartphones per year in 2016 with the introduction of the OnePlus 3T. That doubled to four in 2019 with the announcement of the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7T Pro.
But the most important year in history has arguably been 2020. It has led to the OnePlus 8 series and mid-range OnePlus Nord, but with another two budget smartphones on the way, it seems OnePlus is refocusing its flagship efforts.
