Commercially released stateside , the ultra-high-end Galaxy S20 family had a missing link until earlier this week. It was a big one, mind you, as the smallest and cheapest model in Samsung's latest flagship lineup .
Of course, there was nothing stopping you from buying in a US unlocked variant and activate that on Verizon, but unlike and , the "standard" S20 lacks mmWave 5G technology. And because just so happens to be based exclusively on that type of spectrum, not everyone was willing to make the compromise and settle for 4G LTE speeds across the nation.
