Spotify update finally adds Siri support for Apple Watch users

With the new update, users can finally ask Siri to play Spotify music and control the app. The feature is available to Apple Watches running watchOS 6.

As spotted by , the "bug fixes and improvements" under Spotify's newest update proclaim "Version 1.0 of Spotify via Siri" as now available. Users can now say things like "Hey Siri, Play music on Spotify" among other queries ending with the words "on Spotify."
