Amazon scares up some killer Halloween deals on its popular Fire tablets

While Amazon is still ranked among the world's top five tablet vendors, the company's big hardware launch event last month was all about Alexa-powered devices like smart speakers, smart displays, and true wireless earbuds. 

The e-commerce giant did refresh one of its popular Fire models in a more discreet manner shortly after unveiling all that new Echo-branded stuff, and obviously, it's a little too early for the rehashed 10-inch slate to already go down in price.
