Frosted glass back or glossy glass back — what do you prefer?

Recent rumors state that the iPhone 11 will continue to have a glass back, but will do away with the fingergrease-collecting gloss and replace it for a matte finish. A "Frosted Glass", the rumor mill says.

We've seen this before. Sony had matte glass on its Xperia Z5 and Google chose to use it on the Pixel 3. The finish makes for a softer touch, a bit of a more slippery experience, but less fingerprint smudging. As interesting as it sounds, it is yet to be widely adopted by manufacturers. It appears that customers kind of like the glossy version better. But do they?
