The LG Stylo 5 will be released on its first major carrier next week

After releasing its newest pen-wielding handset on two minor US carriers with surprisingly little fanfare, LG is apparently gearing up to expand the mid-range Stylo 5 to a significantly larger wireless service provider before long.

According to veteran Twitter leaker Evan Blass, Sprint will be picking up this budget-friendly 6.2-incher next Friday, July 19, a launch date corroborated by a sharp new render depicting the large screen surrounded by relatively slim bezels and the built-in stylus that helps the phone stand out from the mid-end, sub-$300 crowd.
