LG launches the G8S ThinQ, a more affordable version of its flagship

LG has just announced its new G8S ThinQ smartphone will go on sale in select markets this month. Marketed as a more affordable version of its LG G8 ThinQ flagship, the G8S packs the same hardware and camera configuration of the former.

It even utilizes the same Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor technology included in the LG G8 ThinQ's Z Camera. However, unlike the G8 ThinQ, the new model comes with three rear cameras instead of just two. Well, the G8 ThinQ has either two or three cameras, depending on the market, but the G8S ThinQ features a triple-rear camera configuration in all markets.
