Google Pay inches closer to US ubiquity with support for 32 new banks

Formed in 2018 by combining Google Wallet and the 2015-released Android Pay platform, Google Pay is probably not as widely used in the US as arch-rival Apple Pay, but it's certainly supported on a similarly large scale. 

The official list of participating banks is simply staggering, but even though the search giant appears to be adding tens of new partners to the roster every few weeks or so, there are always more financial institutions waiting to join the party.
