
With Huawei on the ropes, yesterday the Trump administration gave the company a three-month reprieve allowing the company to access U.S. components and parts "necessary to maintain and support existing and currently fully operational networks and equipment, including software updates and patches." All eyes then turned to Google to see if the company would revise the position it took on Sunday when it reportedly cut ties with Huawei, denying the phone manufacturer access to the Google Play Store on future phones and the other perks of being a Google licensee.
