In an effort to increase Nokia’s presence in the United States, back in January HMD Global – the company in charge of developing Nokia smartphones – partnered up with Verizon to release the Nokia 2 V.

The budget smartphone costs just $69.99 and isn’t going to grab headlines anytime soon. However, it’s a cheap way of testing the market’s interest in Nokia devices. And from what can be seen, things are going extremely smoothly.
