
T-Mobile CEO John Legere was on the stand today in front of a Senate Judiciary subcommittee hearing investigating the T-Mobile-Sprint merger. Announced last April, the $26.5 billion deal requires approval from the FCC and the DOJ in order to close. As we told you earlier this month, several lawmakers wondered if the $195,000 that the carrier spent for rooms and services at the Trump International Hotel in D.C. since the merger announcement was done to curry favor with President Donald Trump.
