The saying if you can't beat them, join them doesn't really apply in this matter, but few probably remember that Swatch wanted to take on Google and Samsung with its own smartwatch and wearable OS about two years ago.

Now the company is making headlines again but for an entirely different reason. Swatch has filed a complaint against Samsung claiming the South Korean company infringed its trademark, Reuters reports.
