Nokia teases December 5 event in Dubai; could unveil the Nokia 8.1

After holding multiple hardware events throughout 2018, HMD Global – the company behind Nokia-branded smartphones – has announced one final event which is set to take place on December 5 in Dubai.

HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas, confirmed the unveiling event via Twitter and also posted a teaser image alongside the hashtag “#ExpectMore.” The company hasn’t yet confirmed what it will announce at the event, but increasing the brightness of the teaser does reveal what appears to be the Nokia 7.1.
