Discovered documents reportedly link Huawei to illegal equipment sales in Iran, Syria

The arrest of Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou in Canada last month was based on a U.S. warrant claiming that the executive had defrauded the global banking system. Why would the daughter of Huawei's founder do something like that? The U.S. says that Meng was trying to hide the fact that Huawei was doing business with Iran, which would be illegal in the states due to U.S. sanctions against the country that were in place at the time.
