Work on Galaxy Note 8, S8, and S8+ Android 9 Pie update seems to have begun

Last week, Samsung announced its new Android 9 Pie-based One UI. The update will first roll out to the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9 duo in January but is eventually expected to make its way to older flagships. And from the look of things, a release may happen sooner rather than later.

The South Korean giant hasn’t yet confirmed that the software will roll out to older devices, but the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, and Galaxy Note 8 have all just been spotted running Android 9 Pie. This would suggest that work has already begun on the update for Samsung's previous-generation flagships.
