HMD Global, the 2016-founded company behind the spectacular resurgence of the Nokia brand, was recently declared the fastest-growing smartphone vendor of the year’s third quarter, which may have something to do with its stellar software support.
While Samsung is still ironing out the kinks of a heavily modified Android 9.0 update that’s only expected to officially roll out to the Galaxy S9 flagship family next year, the Nokia 7.1 already follows the 6.1, 6.1 Plus, and Nokia 7 Plus on the stable Pie boat.
